Zuzak GRC Report; Wed., September 02, 2009

(1) Holodomor/Genocide: http://www.willzuzak.ca/tp/holodomor/holodomor.html
- At the Ukrainian Self-Reliance League convention 06/09Aug2009 in Regina, Ken Krawetz, deputy-premier of Saskatchewan,  gave a rousing speech on the Ukrainian theme -- including the Holodomor. This resulted in a very nice article in the Regina newspaper.
- The Royal Shakespeare Company in England will be highlighting the Holodomor in a theatre production starring Natal’ia Vorozhbit at Stratford-on-Avon from 10Sep2009 to 01Oct2009.

(2) Ukrainophobia: http://www.willzuzak.ca/tp/ukrainophobia/ukrainophobia.html
- Few people realize that a large fraction of the 22,000 Polish army officers and intellectuals executed by the NKVD in April 1940 are buried near Kharkiv.
- A link provided by Myron Petriw, author of Yaroslav’s Treasure, reveals a morbid confession of a NKVD officer haunted by the ghost of an UPA girl he bludgeoned to death. Mr. Petriw next assails the Ukrainian government for honouring and providing compensation to NKVD/KGB murders of Ukrainians.
- In AUR940, Morgan Williams archives 20 articles dealing with the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact of 23Aug1939 as being the catalyst that sparked WWII on 01Sep1939 and making the Soviet Union co-responsible for its initiation.
- A bombshell compiled by a group of Ukrainian scholars based in the Czech Republic indicates that the majority of Ukrainian government deputies and employees were/are either KGB agents, KGB informers or Communists.  This includes Viktor Yushchenko and Borys Tarasiuk.

(3) John Demjanjuk: http://www.willzuzak.ca/fc/2001/2001.html
- The Ukrainian World Congress appeals to Angela Merkel to ensure that the Demjanjuk case does not turn into a
show trial intended to spill blame for the Holocaust on non-Germans.
- Ulrich Busch has filed a motion to have the Demjanjuk case thrown out of court.
- “Reprisal killing” -- utilized by both the Western Allies and the Entente Powers during WWII --  is now a crime.
- The OSI criminals are planning to transpose their evil into the modern era.
- In response to a rather good article by John Rosenthal on reprisal killing, Roman K. points out that:

“Virtually all German formations on the Eastern Front were commanded to exercise punitive actions (execution of hostages) on an as-required basis.”
“As a concrete example of such actions, on Nov. 21, 1942, a Gestapo agent was shot and killed by the Ukrainian resistance in the City of Lviv in Galicia. In reprisal the Germans applied their “100-for-1″ principle by picking 100 foremost Ukrainian civilians throughout Galicia and executing them by firing squad on Nov. 27, 1942. History does not record justice ever having been meted out to the responsible Germans, for this or any other innumerable similar war crimes committed against Ukrainians by the Germans.”
