- Andrew Higgins reports on the "Ukrainian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church" (UOGCC) a breakaway sect of the "Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church" (UGCC), which supports the policies of Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Kirill Gundaev of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC).

- Since his impassioned speech leading to Viktor Yanukovych's flight on 22Feb2014, Volodymyr Parasiuk has continued criticizing Ukraine's politicians and demands decisive ATO actions against the terrorists in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and along the Russian border. (See article below.)
- On 16Jun2014 President Petro Poroshenko stated that, if the conflict in the Donbas cannot be resolved by diplomatic means with Russia within 10 days, he will declare martial law in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Within hours, Igor Girkin (aka Strelkov, Strelok)  calls for Russian military intervention -- claiming that otherwise his terrorists can only hold out for one month.
- On 01Jul2014 00:59 hrs President Petro Poroshenko cancelled his cease-fire order of 20Jun2014 and resumed ATO operations.
