(1) Demjanjuk deportation ruling: Four recent articles indicate an unholy collaboration between the Security Services of Ukraine (SBU) and the Holocaust Industry:

I find this "collaboration" between the SBU and the Holocaust Industry (including the Holocaust Museum, the Wiesenthal Centers and the Office of Special Investigations) extremely disturbing. In the second article, the director of the OSI, Eli Rosenbaum, clearly indicates that the OSI chooses its victims for denaturalization and deportation from the information supplied by the SBU to the U.S. Holocaust Museum. The last two articles, indicate that the OSI is determined to deport Mr. Demjanjuk to Ukraine. 

Should Ukraine decide to accept Mr. Demjanjuk, it is certain that the Holocaust Industry will demand that Mr. Demjanjuk be charged with war crimes resulting in a trial reminiscent of the Moscow Show Trials of the 1930s and/or Mr. Demjanjuk's 1987 show trial in Jerusalem. Ukrainian-Jewish relations are certain to suffer.

In this context, it is disheartening that during his recent trip to the United States (Dec. 04-07, 2006) the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich, declined to meet with the Ukrainian Diaspora, but (presumably) did meet with Jewish organizations. Furthermore, that Vladimir Putin supported sanctions against Iran after making a deal with George Bush, does not bode well for U.S. support for Ukraine or for peace in the world. 

(2) Denaturalization and Deportation: Orest Rudzik unsuccessfully defended Wasily Bogutin, Vladimir Katriuk and Serge Kisluk in the early d&d trials circa 1997. In a letter to the 13Dec2006 issue of the Ukrainian News archived at

he praises an earlier editorial criticising an article by David Matas in the National Post. He suggests that a study be initiated “as to the effects of government being manipulated by a very active, energetic, affluent and politically clever community in Canada, to engage in a witch hunt on its behalf.”

We laud Mr. Rudzik’s suggestion. In our opinion, the Ukrainian Canadian community has a responsibility to demand from the federal government an apology and financial restitution to the victims of the d&d policy. The suggested study is a necessary prerequisite for the attainment of this goal. 

(3) Stalin’s Jews: A 13Dec2006 article on ynetnews.com titled "Stalin's Jews" by Jewish historian Sever Plocker

refers to the book "Stalin: The Court of the Red Tsar" by Simon Sebag Montefiore. This book starts with a 4-page "List of Characters" that were important in Stalin's life. Many of these were of Jewish origin, had Jewish wives, or their children had spouses of Jewish origin. 

In his own family, his brother-in-law (to his first wife Kato Svanidze), Alyosha Svanidze, was married to Maria Svanidze, a "Jewish Georgian opera singer". His own daughter, Svetlana Alliluyeva Stalin, had a first lover Alexei Kapler and later married Grigory Morozov (both Jewish).

At the time of the suicide of his second wife, Nadya Alliluyeva, on the night of Nov. 08/09, 1932 (just at the beginning of the Holodomor), Stalin's inner circle consisted of Lazar Kaganovich, Vyacheslav Molotov (with his dominating Jewish wife, Polina Karpovskaya), Klim Voroshilov (with Jewish wife, Ekaterina Gorbman), Genrikh Yagoda (GPU/NKVD chief, who was later replaced by Nikolai Yezhov with his Jewish second wife, Yevgenia Feigenberg), Karl Pauker (security, bodyguard), Alexander Poskrebyshev (personal secretary with his Jewish wife, Bronka Metalikova).

Also nearby were Lev Mekhlis (ex-secretary, Pravda editor) and Dora Khazan (Nadya Alliluyeva's best friend and wife of Andrei Andreyev). Sergei Kirov had a Jewish wife and the daughter of Georgi Malenkov had a Jewish husband. 

Among his enemies are listed three Jews (Lev Kamenev, Leon Trotsky, Grigory Zinoviev) and two non-Jews (Nikolai Bukharin, Alexei Rykov). Of the twelve listed "engineers of the human soul", five were of Jewish origin (Isaac Babel, Ilya Ehrenburg, Sergei Eisenstein, Osip Mandelstam, Boris Pasternak).

Sever Plocker's comment that "Stalin was surrounded by beautiful, young Jewish women" presumably refers to excerpts from Montefiore's book: 

[p162] "Stalin sat in the middle surrounded by his worshipful women -- on his right sat the pushy Sashiko Svanidze, then Maria Kaganovicha and the busty soprano Maria Svanidze, and on his left, the slim, elegant First Lady, Polina Molotova. ... Cheshire cat smiling ... Zhenya Alliluyeva." [Photograph from Dec. 21, 1934]

[p273] "Stalin was surrounded by Jewesses -- from Polina Molotova and Maria Svanidze to [Bronka] Poskrebysheva and [Yevgenia] Yezhova. Beria's son, reliable on gossip, dubious on politics, recalled that his father gleefully listed Stalin's affairs with Jewesses. These pretty young Jewesses fluttered around Stalin but they were all of 'dubious origins'." 

[p263] "The wives were if anything even more fanatical than the husbands" -- in denouncing Wreckers, Fifth Columnists and Enemies of the people.

One must conclude that, at the time of the Holodomor and the succeeding Great Terror, Stalin operated within a Jewish milieu.
