Russian terrorist saboteur groups dressed in Ukrainian uniform attack Ukrainians

[W.Z.  As indicated in the first two video links listed below, during the summer of 2015 there has been a disturbing increase in the number of Russian terrorists from the Donbas infiltrating into Ukraine with the intention to perpetrate terrorist acts and create chaos. The third video describes the NKVD atrocities perpetrated against the UPA resistance following WW2. Below this video, I have provided links to top secret Russian-language documents excerpted from the 1994 book by Ivan Bilas.]

Russian terrorists have posted a video with a raid of one of their subversive reconnaissance groups. The group has been getting out from the territory controlled by Ukraine. All members of Russian terrorist group dressed in Ukrainian uniform and have respective stripes on their sleeves. Judging by the presence of sleeping bags and backpacks the subversive group was during a long time in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

According to information received by ‘Informator’ from the front line, there were many cases recently where Russian terrorist groups dressed in uniform of military commander office or Ukrainian officer’s uniform stopped Ukrainian individual soldiers or groups of Ukrainian soldiers. ID documents of saboteurs prepared impeccably, no questions to their identity arose. Terrorists detain Ukrainian soldiers for would-be violations of discipline to “deliver” them to “military commander office”. Later, it turns out that there were no Ukrainian patrols or any Ukrainian representatives of the commandant office at those areas. Using this trick terrorists take prisoners for interrogation or simply eliminate the soldiers.

InformNapalm carried out the OSINT reconnaissance and have found interesting photos in some online profiles of the Russian backed DNR terrorists. These pictures show how the terrorists of the 1st ‘Slavic’ motorized rifle brigade (military unit No. 08801, militia army corps of the DNR Ministry of Defense) dress up in the Ukrainian army ‘pixel’ uniform. The discovered photos are dated June, 2015. More details can be found in InformNapalm report.

InformNapalm concerned that joint patrols (in case allegations be confirmed) and changing militants in Ukrainian uniform may result in new provocations in the military conflict in Donbas.

This tactic is not new for Russians. During the Soviet military operations to establish control over Western Ukraine, NKVD (Soviet Secret police) squads dressed as OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists) - UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army) fighters committed atrocities in order to demoralize the civilian population, and to turn the people against nationalist groups.

Among the tasks of Russian NKVD squads were:

In 1944-1953, various Soviet forces killed an estimated 153,000 Ukrainian resistance combatants and supporters; arrested an estimated 134,000; some 66,000 families (almost 204,000 people) were deported from western Ukraine to Siberia and northern Russia.

NKVD in the form of UPA killed people

[W.Z. In the autumn of 2010, I utilized OCR technology to excerpt sections of the 1994 book by Ivan Bilas titled "Repressive-Punative System in Ukraine 1917-1953" and archived them on my website as:

Role of Repressive Organs in Strengthening the Totalitarian Regime (1945-1953) Book excerpt p547-579, 1994; Ivan Bilas [pdf file, Russian]
Repressive-Punative System and Mass Deportations of Nations (1945-1947)  Book excerpt p502-513, 1994; Ivan Bilas [pdf file, Russian]

The vicious campaign of the MGB/MVD against Ukrainian patriots -- especially OUN (Stepan Bandera) and UPA (Roman Shukhevych) -- fighting to establish an independent Ukrainian state are reflected in these declassified top secret documents. This campaign involved terror, arrests, torture, executions and mass deportations of the civilian population to the Gulags in the East.

Researchers/activists that are fluent in the Russian, Ukrainian and English languages are encouraged to download these pdf files, make appropriate translations and disseminate them to counter Russian terrorism and perfidious propaganda.]
