Scandalous message

The Rupert Murdoch trash tabloid scandal exposes the ugly underbelly of major British institutions within finance, politics, media, and policing. To the ordinary Brit, the message will be loud and clear:
Law-makers, law-enforcers, money managers, and opinion-makers are not your friends. They may, in fact, be the enemy of whom one should be very wary indeed. All of which lays the groundwork for a major tectonic shift in British politics, of the kind that occurred in revolutionary France and in revolutionary Russia.
