Tea Party right to be mad
Re: ‘Tea Party -- a malcontented faction,’ Peter Worthington, Sept. 20, 2010.

Since 2001, the U.S. has been engaged in an unwinnable war in Afghanistan and an unnecessary war in Iraq, whose combined cost exceeds a trillion dollars.

The trade deals it brokered with China gave it $5 trillion in trade deficits, wiped out six million manufacturing jobs and 50,000 factories in a single decade, resulting in a debt to the communist giant approaching $1 trillion.

Talk about willingly impaling yourself on your enemy’s bayonet. The Tea Party folk should demand to know why a great nation’s blood and treasure has been squandered in such a near-suicidal fashion.
