My Motion to Quash dated 29-Aug-2002 was delivered to the LASC 30-Aug-2002, which last date I expected to be the date of filing.  However, as of 04:00 pm 09-Sep-2002, my Motion to Quash has not appeared under Documents Filed in the Case Summary for BC271433 on the Los Angeles Superior Court web site.

My Motion to Quash was accompanied by American Express Worldwide Money Order, No. 107746731, for US$193.00 to cover Civil Filing Fee 7a, for "First paper on behalf of each defendant, intervenor, respondent, or adverse party, whether appearing separately or jointly, per appearing party" as specified on the LASC web site, and was accompanied as well by proof of service to plaintiff attorney Gary Kurtz.

It would seem that one of the following may be the case:
